The Henry Lawson Festival of The Arts is held on the June long weekend and celebrates Grenfell's famous son, Henry Lawson, who was born on the
Grenfell Goldfield in 1867. Highlights of the festival include poetry and drama, craft, art and photography exhibitions, street parades and carnival, guinea
pig races, fun run, wood chop, car show and food and wine. There is entertainment for all ages over a great long weekend of activity.
