Pieter van Gent Winery presents "The Artists Showplace". Exhibition this month is Joanna O’Brien’s fashion jewellery pieces on display.
Born in the UK, Joanna was originally trained in fashion and clothing technology, but took a side step into jewellery design about 15 years ago. Self taught she began designing fashion jewellery pieces on a small scale.
In 1996 Joanna left England to travel and travelled extensively before settling in Australia, where her interest in jewellery design increased.
Over the last few years, Joanna has made a natural progression from the 'fashion range' into semi-precious stones and sterling silver, drawing on influences and cultures from around the world for her creations.
Come and meet Joanna on Saturday October 25th from 12 noon.
Visitors will be able to enjoy wine tasting, view original artwork, meet the artist and purchase art.
