Trunkey Creek Annual Wool and Horse Festival
The Trunkey Creek 26th Annual Wool and Horse Festival, Saturday 11th October at Trunkey Creek Show Ground. This year's event will feature a "Country Music" Theme with an open concert forming the backdrop of the entertainment program.
Local four piece live band "Just Crusi'n" will provide backing music for any artists who wish to perform. They only need to provide chorded music sheets on the day.
Over 40 stall holders will attend along with Arts/Crafts/Sheep Dog Trials/ Relic and Treasure Display/ plenty of activities for the whole family with the highlight of the day being "A Mechanical Bull" which will feature from 1.00pm to 4.00pm with prize money up for grabs.
This year's show will be opened by Wyatt Thompson, last surviving member of the first Australian 1956 Olympic Equestrian Team.
