Cowra Picnic Races
The Cowra Picnic Races provides the quintessential country Australian horse racing experience. Gates open at midday and racing starts at approximately
1.10pm with the Cowra Cup being run at approximately 3.30pm.
Bring a picnic and blanket to sit under a tree and watch the judging of the Fashions On The Field, the crowning of Miss Cowra Picnic Races, most
outstanding Hat, most Elegant Lady and Best Dressed Gent.
From 5.30pm, a disco with local DJ will help punters wind down from the day’s racing fever. Tent hire and membership to the Racing Club is available on the
day. The Picnic Race Office will be open three weeks prior to the event date.
