Rotary Safari Fun Run and Zoo Walk
Dubbo’s Taronga Western Plains Zoo will open its gates on Sunday for about 1,000 runners and walkers for the Rotary Safari Zoo Fun Run and Walk. The day is a combined effort between the zoo and the Rotary clubs of Dubbo South and Dubbo West. Walk, hop, skip or run at this annual event. The nine kilometre run will start at 10am and the 5.5 kilometre walk at 10.30am, but entrants are advised to get to the zoo early, find a parking spot and make their way to the start lines.
The runners start near the lion exhibit at the top of the zoo, while the walkers get underway from the camel exhibit.
