Folk in Broke
A two-day musical spectrum, in picturesque Broke Village.
This 2-day festival consists of 8 stages, a workshop program, dance program, kids-fest, multiple blackboard concerts, dedicated session venue/s, markets, and a feast of local and interstate artists.
The festival’s objective is to create a "rich and fulfilling festival experience" and as a result festival-goers can enjoy a diverse mix of * World Music * Folk-Jazz * Blues 'n Roots * traditional Australian folk * J azz-Rock *Celtic-rock * Contemporary folk and a little indefinable genre fusing!
The festival is a hands-on festival, including loads of activities for the kids”. As a result the activities on offer include: * A performance workshop on mines & music feature concert * Songwriting workshop * Singing workshop * KidzFezt offering some great ideas to keep the little folk occupied, including craft activities stories, workshops and more.
Festival-goer's will be able to camp along the riverbank of the festival grounds (note though, no campfires are permitted as it is bushfire season) or alternately source some of the excellent accommodation in the area to suit a variety of budgets.
