A wonderful selection of music from opera, operetta and musicals; set in a beautiful bush setting on the property 'Mimosa. Come and experience a night of magic under the stars.
As the Kookaburras take to their branches, sit back, relax and experience the atmosphere of the Australian Bush with its stately gums and myriad of stars, as evening falls. A peaceful valley on the rural property of "Mimosa" transforms into a stunning operatic backdrop.
To coincide with Opera in the Paddock, Celebration of the Art Song, a Twilight Recital of German Song consisting of an hour recital of Lieder by Schubert, Schumann, Brahms and Strauss will be performed in the Inverell Town Hall on Friday 14th March, 2008, commencing at 6.15pm.
