Bonnie Wingham Scottish Festival
Come and celebrate all the activities at the sixth Bonnie Wingham Scottish Festival.
Festival highlights include:
Thursday 27 May - 3.30pm Welcome to Festival Chieftans (Tellers Restaurant); 7pm Masonic night (Lodge Cowper).
Friday 28 May - 7am Braveheart Poets Breakfast (Australia Hotel); 10.30am CWA Shortbread Baking Competition (CWA Rooms Isabella St), Judging of shop window displays, Bowls and Golf Competitions, 7.30pm Single Malt Whisky night (Wingham Services Club).
Saturday 29 May - 9am Market and Clan information stalls; 9.30am Street Parade, followed by Opening Ceremony, Highland Games, Bands and Dancing, Medieval Warriors in Battle (Central Park Wingham); 6.30pm Wee Dram Pre Ball Cocktail Party and 7.30pm Grand Scottish Ball (Wingham Services Club).
Sunday 30 May - 7.30am Lay Led thanksgiving Service and Blessing of Banners (River Reserve); 8am Barbecue Breakfast by Rotary Club (River Reserve); 10am Colloquium of Clan and Celtic leaders (Tellers Restaurant); 2pm Grand Scottish Concert (Wingham Town Hall).
