Walk on the Wild Side Festival

Walk on the Wild Side is a weekend of activities featuring free guided walks through the spectacular wildflowers and natural environment surrounding the Hawks Nest area.

A “Festival Ferry” service will be operating from Nelson Bay, which will be met by a free community bus to take you to the actions in Hawks Nest. Festival Ferry Tickets are available from Cruise Booking Agency, Port Stephens Boat Hire and Port Stephens Visitor Information Centre.

All the shops in Hawks Nest will be open and the cafes and restaurants look forward to serving you with a delicious variety of food and drinks.

The annual ‘Paddle for Life’ (Myall River Classic) kayak event will be held in Tea Gardens on the Saturday, with historical and arts walks also being organized.

The Myall U3A Art Exhibition will be held in the Community Hall all weekend and the Village Markets will be held on Saturday from 8am in Tea Gardens.
