The launch of the new exhibition for July is ‘Chrysalis’, an exhibition of drawings and paintings by Kim Godfrey. Kim’s work shows the diverse range of topics and techniques from her delicate pen and ink drawings to larger works in oils of rich colours.
The Year Of The Apology
A selection of works from the landmark exhibition, ‘The Year of the Apology’ which featured the work of over 50 Indigenous artists from the Northern Rivers region, The works in this show are a reaction to the Rudd Government’s ‘Apology’ to the Stolen Generations and/or works based on the theme of reconciliation. “‘The Year of the Apology’ is a vessel in giving us, Aboriginal artists a voice.
