The Lightning Ridge Opal Festival includes a four day program of entertainment, novelty events and parties celebrating opal as Australia's National Gemstone. The Exhibition showcases entries from leading international and national jewellers in the Opal Jewellery Design Awards boasting exquisite jewellery and new trends within the industry.
The four-day event provides miners, jewellers, buyers, lapidarists and rock hounds with valuable insight to what is currently available in the market place and provides those with a special interest in the gem industry with access to gemstones, information and equipment.
