Ardlethan Arts and Jazz Festival
The Ardlethan Arts and Jazz Festival will be full of various events starting on the Friday night with James Morrison and his band playing at the masked ball. Saturday afternoon is the Battle of the Jazz bands competition where up to 10 jazz bands battle it out for the prize money.
Throughout the weekend there are various exhibitions ranging from textiles, private collection of well known Australian artists and the exhibition where artists will be exhibiting and selling their work.
On Saturday there will be art and craft stalls and children’s activities in the Lions Park and then on the Sunday there will also be an antique fair.
Throughout the festival there will be various workshops running including: Susan de Jong Jazz vocals, National Gallery water colour painting, Di Tarr mosiac, Hip Hop with The Raw Dance Company, photography, candle making, cooking, textiles and many more.
