Adaminaby Cup Race Day
The Adaminaby Races are held annually in November and truly is a fantastic day of country racing. There is a dress up competition, fashions of the field, prizes to give away, and of course, lots of action on the race track.
This year's theme is "Mexico Magic" in recognition of Adaminaby's role in the creation of the movie Phar Lap starring Tom Burlinson. Many of you might recognise the rustic Adaminaby Race Course as the set location of Phar Lap's final race in Mexico.
Gates open at 11am with the first race commencing at 1.30pm. A bus will run every half hour from the Big Trout in Adaminaby starting at 11am and will cost AUD5 return.
Children's facilities will be available as well as catering (no BYOs).
Bookmakers will operate on the Local and Metropolitan races. There will also be an on course tote.
