Living Craft Expo Ulladulla
The Living Craft Expo will feature a wide variety of skills with the artisans demonstrating their techniques. Providing a showcase for the work of our multi-talented craft people.
For the first time Jack Brilliant will bring part of his exclusive silk and wool design factory into the Civic Centre and demonstrate silk painting as well as seeing the finished product on the "catwalk"
See working demonstrations of: Millhouse artists, leadlighting, wool and silk painting, silkscreening, country furniture, aboriginal art, lapidary wood working, knitting, beading, pottery, spinning and weaving, model trains, scrap booking and glass slumping.
Workshops will be conducted by a variety of crafts people for a nominal fee and will provide the public an opportunity to experience the craft of their interest.
Aboriginal Artist Tom Avery will be showing his diverse range of Aboriginal Art. Tom is a descendant of the Kamilaroi Aboriginal Tribe of Northern New South Wales, Australia. His Aboriginal name is Bagaay, which means "the River", and his tribal totem is the eagle.
With display and exhibitions of model railways, scrap booking, beading, Jewellery and Millinery, Margaret Rose Dolls, Slumped Glass, Wildlife Artist - Lee Daynes, Wool Rd Spinners and Weavers, Silk Painting - Maureen Speers, Quilling and Porcelain, Leadlight Lamps and Sun Catchers, Crafty Kids, Ceramic Art and the Lions Club Doll Collection
Morning and afternoon teas as well as lunch will be available.
The purchase of one ticket is valid for entry for the whole weekend. Our exhibiting artisans will be offering items for sale.
