Eden Whale Festival
Pack the car and the family and head to the stunning seaside town of Eden in the first weekend of November, when the whole town celebrates the annual southern migration of the Humpback Whales towards the Antarctic.
This annual festival is an integral part of the Eden calendar providing a great weekend festival with a carnival atmosphere for the whole family to enjoy.
Kicking off at 1pm on Friday 31st October with the opening ceremony at the Eden Killer Whale Museum, by Saturday the whole town is a buzz with a street parade featuring decorative floats, vintage cars and special guests - Bob the Builder will be here this year for the little ones!
Eden Wharf will feature market stalls, food, live music and the best of local produce from the region. There will be displays, rides and much, much more.
Sunday continues with fun and games at the Wharf including Pirates by the Cove and birdmans Rally, plus many other events.
Local art galleries displaying painting, sculpture, aboriginal art, arts and crafts plus cooking demonstrations by Sydney Fish Markets add to the great list of things to do over the weekend.
