Danks Street Festival
Following its enormous success over the last three years, City of Sydney's Danks Street Festival returns with lots more entertainment, fun and food than ever before, including live music, DJs, gourmet food stalls, an Artists Market, kids interactive Arty Pants area and roving entertainers.
Danks Street Festival is part of the City's public art festival - Art & About, which runs from being of October to being November.
The event will again be extended into Young Street, to host a Sydney produce market, with fresh food from local growers and bakers.
Danks Street, Waterloo, is one of Sydney's most interesting and vibrant villages, full of art galleries, cafes and restaurants and the event provides a perfect excuse to come and explore.
Artists Market and Art Exhibitions - Shop for a masterpiece at the Artists Market featuring local artists. Gallery exhibitions at some of Sydney's finest galleries in the area
Produce Market - In Young Street, you will be able to pick up fresh fruit and vegetables from Hawkesbury Harvest as well as jams, olive oils and fresh bread.
Specialty Food - Stalls from local cafes and restaurants selling loads of fabulous food.
Arty Pants - fun stuff for kids to create. Hands on art activities for children .
Festival Ambassador and Danks Street Depot chef/owner Jared Ingersoll will be serving up delicious food on the day.
