Monet and the Impressionists

Opening 11 October 2008, one of the finest exhibitions of Impressionist art ever held in Australia will be seen only at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

This is a rare chance to see some of the world's most famous and most loved Impressionist paintings including Monet's Water lilies and Haystacks.

Thirty of the finest paintings by the master of Impressionism, Claude Monet, will be exhibited in the company of his contemporaries including Cézanne, Manet, Degas, Pissarro, Renoir and Sisley.

On loan from the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, home to one of the world's finest and most famous collections of Impressionist paintings.

This exhibition is only showing in Sydney.
