World Youth Day 08 Opening Mass of Welcome

The Opening Mass is the first major event of the week, formally celebrating the opening of WYD08 with a celebration of the Eucharist by the Archbishop of Sydney. The Mass will commence at approximately 4.30pm on Tuesday 15 July at two sites in the heart of Sydney - Barangaroo and The Domain.
