Wahu Surfer Grom Competition Northern Beaches
The Wahu Surfer Groms Competition is going nationwide over Summer. The event will be held at Dee Why Beach with Curl Curl Beach the backup location.
Formerly just in Queensland, five Australian states will now host the exciting, all-grommet affairs, which have divisions catering for the micro groms (under 9’s) to the big kids alike (under 15’s), and is all about providing a fun, but competitive environment.
For most grommets, the family orientated events represent the perfect opportunity for them to have their first crack in a professionally run surfing contest.
The action isn’t just limited to the waves with plenty to do between heats with Wahu footys, flyers and balls bouncing and flying around left, right and centre.
