Port of Echucas Heritage Steam Festival The
Experience magnificent steam engines, vintage cars, tractors and horse drawn wagons. Enjoy a wide range of free entertainment including the “Street of Steam”, including displays of magnificent steam engines, vintage cars, tractors and horse drawn wagons, old fashioned family activities and entertainment.
Come-and-try events will include cutting huge logs with a cross-cut saw, while demonstrations include traction engine and small engine operation and old trades.
Novelty events include a popular period dress competition, street theatre and a Punch & Judy Show. An exciting new event will include a Busker’s Competition. Entertainment will continue through Saturday evening, with a Busk Off and Camp Oven Cook Off.
The world’s largest collection of paddle steamers will steam the river together in a marvellous display of pageantry, steam and whistles. A firework spectacular will conclude the evening’s events
