Alice Desert Festival

The Alice Desert Festival is a unique desert festival, celebrating the art and culture of Central Australia and its people.

The festival looks into Central Australia’s red dusty landscape and shares the stories, songs and understanding of this arid region. The festival features a showcase of Aboriginal art and culture borne out of the desert landscape and celebrates the dynamic exchange between the different cultures that exist together in the heart of Australia.

Musicians from some of the remotest communities in the Australia come together to perform in the Bush Bands Bash, wild bush foods are harvested and cooked into succulent meals and choirs are set amidst ancient an desert landscape.
