Chariots of Thunder Sprintcar Series
‘Chariots of Thunder’ is the Northern Territory's premier motor racing event for speedway fans, as local and interstate competitors put the pedal to the metal.
There are six nights of fast, furious and action packed entertainment, as the drivers push their skills and machines to the limit, in an all out challenge to the win this prestigious event. The program for the evenings also includes AMCA's, Steetstocks, Junior sedans and karts.
Grab the family and head on down to Northline Speedway for a great night of thrills and spills. Food and beverages (including bars) are available, and a new seating area, adds to the exciting Speedway experience for all the family. Esky's are allowed but please no glass. Gates open at 4pm.
Dates are as follows - 14 and 15 August 2009, 28 and 29 August 2009, 4 and 5 September 2009.
Entry costs per night are - Friday nights AUD20.00 per adult, AUD10.00 for children (12 to 16 years old), AUD50.00 for a family. Saturday nights AUD25.00 per adult, AUD15.00 for children (12 to 16 years old), AUD60.00 for a family. Children under 12 years of age are free. Payment at the gate on the night is cash only.
