22nd Annual Billfish Tournament
Your challenge - to hook and fight for your first billfish.
Held in the waters surrounding Groote Eylandt, the Annual Billfish Tournament is a tag-and-release competition. The elusive sailfish and small black marlin are the primary targets, as they congregate in the waters around this time of the year. This is a team event and has become one of Groote Eylandt Game and Sport Fishing Club’s signature event and is held in partnership with Andrew ‘ET’ Ettingshausen’s recently established Escape Sportfishing Lodge.
