Every Easter long weekend, Timber Creek holds is very own XXXX Timber Creek Gunamu Tourist Park Fishing Competition. Fishing enthusiast and families are invited to join the locals of Timber Creek for a great weekend.

If you’re eager to wet your line, the competition starts at 6am on Friday 2 April 2010 and finishes at 4.30pm on Sunday 4 April 2010, then come and try your luck, with cash and prizes up for grabs.

Entry costs are AUD20.00 per child and AUD40.00 per adult which includes a fee dinner on the Sunday night.

Held on the Victoria River, this is one of the most scenic places to catch a barramundi.
