Outback Horse and Heritage Expo

The Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame and Outback Heritage Centre proudly present the Outback Horse and Heritage Expo. This event is a celebration of Australian rural heritage, it recognises the contribution of the horse to our nation's history, and will showcase Australian horse sports in the modern era.

Located within the grounds of the Stockman’s Hall of Fame Longreach, the event will take place on site of the planned Outback Entertainment Centre (OEC). Earth works have commenced to build the AUD20 million facility, which will host events of national significance, house the local show grounds and provide for training facilities and trade fairs.

Over the weekend, an Australian Campdraft Association sanctioned campdraft will feature a total prize pool of AUD120,000. One campdraft division will showcase the unique skills of a traditional draft without fences. Competitors will play an active role in holding the mob together.
