Autumn is a beautiful time of year to visit Gippsland with mellow weather and golden trees nestled among rolling hills. The region is fast becoming known for quirky events and fresh, local produce which can be experienced in stunning environments.
There is a feast of food and wine events including Palate of Passions, a series of food and wine events held throughout March 2012 showcasing some of West Gippsland's best gourmet produce.
Headlining the festival is the Regional World's Longest Lunch (2 March) held on the iconic Noojee Trestle Bridge. Enjoy international flavours with a sumptuous weekend of feasts at Brandy Creek Winery (10-12 March) featuring Paella Feasts, tapas feasts or Brazilian Churrasco.
