People's Choice Teddy Bears' Picnic

Everyone's favourite friend, Big Ted, returns to the shady surrounds of the George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens with his fluffy friends for heaps of adventures and fun. All kids are encouraged to bring their favourite furry friend to share this Teddy Bear day with them.

This annual festival favourite, the Australian Central Savings and Loans Teddy Bears' Picnic, is one of the highlights on the social calendar for kids of all ages. It's a fun-filled, action-packed event for the whole family with terrific entertainment, crazy face painting, fanciful fairies, craft corners, sizzling sausages and a whole lot more.

So kids grab your favourite teddy, mum, dad, brothers and sisters, and head on day down to the Teddy Bears' Picnic. The picnic starts at 9am and finished at 12 noon.
