Prologue for Potentials

Prologue for Potentials is all about providing creative development opportunities for Tasmanian playwrights.

Local actors and directors rehearse for a short period before reading a new script in front of a live audience. After the reading there's lively discussion about the play, giving valuable feedback to the playwright about how the work can be developed.

Prologue for Potentials has supported the artistic development of some outstanding local work in recent years, including Carrie McLean's Beautiful, a well received Mudlark production staged at the Earl Arts Centre in 2011.
