Tenth Annual Corvette Classic Car Show
The Corvettes Down Under Car Club, which was founded by a group of Brisbane enthusiasts, is holding the Tenth Annual Corvette Classic to showcase over 100 of Australia's finest examples of Chevrolet's famous icon - the Corvette. There is expected to be upwards of 100 Corvettes on display with models from the 1950s right up until now on display.
The Corvette Down Under Car club's 'Corvette Classic' is becoming one of the ‘must see’ events and last year attracted over 35,000 people. With cars again expected to travel from New South Wales and North Queensland, around 1.5 million dollars worth of cars will be on show.
Corvettes are considered “America's Classic Sports Car". Visitors are invited to inspect the cars, talk to the owners and take photos of the cars.
Trade stands will be on site and public will be kept entertained with information and interviews throughout the day.
