Bemac African Safari with Wala from Ghana
‘Wala’ is an exciting five-piece percussion and dance ensemble. They present a high-energy and dynamic performance, featuring, drumming, dance, percussion and soaring vocal harmonies.
Wala means ‘life’ in the local language of their hometown of Accra, and the suitability of this name becomes clear as you experience them in action – loving and celebrating life through music. Dancers are surrounded by about 20 drums, played with hands, feet and sticks.
Come along one and all to enjoy this wonderful musical presentation, which I am sure will get your feet a tapping and your body swaying to this fantastic African Safari music. You will be in awe of the sounds the wonderful drums make.
