The Straddie Salute
The Straddie Salute is an adventure in nature's playground.
Swim, bike and run your way around one of Queensland's iconic island destinations and farewell the last of the humpback whales as they migrate south on their annual pilgrimage. Set on North Stradbroke Island, the Straddie Salute is a breathtaking experience on Brisbane's doorstep. Swim the crystal clear waters, ride the scenic four wheel drive trails and roads, and run along one of the most beautiful coastal trails in Queensland.
Take up the challenge or grab a couple of mates, enter a team and join the fun.

The course contains a 600 metre ocean swim, an 18 kilometre mountain bike ride (off-road and road) and a nine kilometre coastal run.
You can enter as an individual or a three person team.
There is also the Stradbroke Island Beach Hotel Fun Run and Walk plus the Straddie Gift.
