Bundaberg Quilt Exhibition
The Bundaberg Quilt Exhibition will be on in early August, so make sure to mark the days on the calendar. The exhibition is held biennially and since its humble inception in 1986 has grown to be a major event on the Bundaberg calendar. The exhibition draws viewers from all over the Wide Bay attracted by a dazzling array of quilts none of which will have been exhibited before. Visitors will be treated to a hall full of quilts exemplifying the wide range of techniques, styles and colours seen today in the patchwork and quilting craft.
The quality of work is high with many of the quilters having won awards. Craft traders, trunk shows, demonstrations, market stalls and raffles will add interest and there will be a lucky door prize. Light refreshments will be available at a reasonable cost.
