Moore Park Beach Annual Festival Of Arts
This year the Moore Park Beach Festival of Arts will be held from Friday, 12 September to Sunday, 14 September with a Cocktail party on Friday night starting the celebrations for the festival.
The Moore Park Beach Festival is a celebration of all forms of artistic expression. The cornerstone of the festival is the Adult Art Exhibition/Competition, which attracts hundreds of entrants locally, interstate and intrastate. The Art exhibition this year will be expanded to include Folk Art as well as photography and sculpture.
The school art is another spectacular section from local primary schools in the Bundaberg region. The Queensland Kite Flyers Society visit each year to present a Kite Extravaganza which can be seen on Saturday and Sunday on Moore Park's pristine, unspoilt beach in front of the Moore Park Surf Club.
There will also be beach entertainment, a Sandology display, which is then used as a backdrop for the children's sand modelling competition, international dance displays, wine and cheese tasting.
