1770 Festival

The 1770 Festival is held in May each year to commemorate the landing of Lieutenant James Cook and the Endeavour crew back in the year 1770, heralding the birthplace of Queensland and celebrating the unique lifestyle of the region. The 1770 Festival is a community, not-for-profit event which attracts thousands of people each year enjoying the Outdoor Film Night, Art Show, Comedy Night, Street Parade, Live Music, Dancing, Fireworks, Rides, Market Stalls, Food and Wine, and many more activities and attractions for the whole family to enjoy.
