Monto Festival
The Monto Festival is a seven day celebration culminating with the main day on Saturday. There will be markets and an early breakfast with the ABC radio kicks off Saturday.
A procession at midday followed by entertainment with a rodeo held on Saturday night. Bush Idol will be held again which is Monto's answer to Australian Idol!
Art, pottery exhibitions, markets, a field day, family concert are just some of the other events being held during the week.
Sunday is their historical day with machinery and tractors/trucks on display. The Monto Roos Pig Races will be held on Sunday night after the Pioneer Shield (Rugby League game). A country and western concert will also be held on Sunday night. Come along and experience a great weekend in a friendly country town, you'll love it!
