Bundaberg Playhouse Theatre Presents Shock
Shock is a thriller with a cast of four men and three women. Air hostess Maggie lives in an isolated house, to which Ann and Maggie’s latest romantic interest, airline pilot Terry, are coming to celebrate her birthday.
Maggie has some peculiar tastes, including tape-recording the most private intimacies between herself and her lovers. This indulgence soon causes consternation among the visitors, which include her neighbour Jenny and Jenny’s husband. This culminates in some very nasty moments, maybe even murder.
While the storyline might seem to some, to be not for the faint hearted, don’t be put off, because just like Clemens other works, The Avengers and Diagnosis Murder, there is still plenty of humour to ease the minds of those with a nervous disposition.
