Brahman Week Rockhampton

Brahman Week includes the largest single breed sale held in Australia. This week is also a social event, including dinners and fashion parades. Everyone is welcome to attend to see the workings of the beef industry and enjoy the festivities. Brahman is a tropical cow breed unique to this area for its heat tolerance and tick resistance. Brahmans are sought after for live export and are presently being exported into Indonesia, the Philippines and other Pacific countries. This week attracts buyers from all over the world.
