Hervey Bay Whale Festival

The Hervey Bay Whale Festival celebrates the arrival of the whales into the bay each year. Starting with the blessing of the fleet at the Marina at Urangan on Saturday 2 August. The following Saturday 9 August, starting at 2.00 p.m. at the Seafront Oval, is the Whale of a Time Family Fun Day with rides, entertainment, food, beverages, an illuminated street parade at 5.00 p.m. winding its way up the Esplanade ending with a spectacular fireworks display.

Sunday 10 August is the Teddy Bears Picnic and Ranger Lacey's Pet Walk. Sunday 17 August is Hervey Bay's famous Seafood Festival at Urangan. Please visit the website for all the information!
