Biloela Comedy and Food Festival
Biloela Comedy and Food Festival hosts cooking and food demonstrations/tastings, comedy entertainments, beer fest, markets, sporting activities, kids entertainments, Bilo bake off, Bilo signature dish competition promoting 'love the locals' whereby restaurants will vie for the signature dishes to be presented at the Black Tie event where up to 400 attend to enjoy the food, comedy entertainments and dancing till late.
The Festival particularly promotes local produce such as squab, redclaw, beef, herbs and port via the signature dish, and hosting guest chefs who provide workshops to high school students, demonstrations and judging of Bilo bake off at the retirement village and then at the main event. The comedians are engaged to host workshops with students, entertain the elderly, the public and then at the beer fest and main events.
