The Barkly May Day Muster offers premier horse sports competition and action packed spectator entertainment over the May Day long weekend, showcasing Tennant Creeks local industry and business community, some of the best pastoral country in the world and a lifestyle steeped in history and tradition for both travellers and the resident regional cohort.
The Barkly May Day Muster represents a community partnerships initiative between the Tennant Creek Race Club, Barkly Rodeo Association, Tennant Creek Saddle Horse Club and Barkly Campdraft Association for both the promotion and celebrations of the dynamic pastoral history.
