Beaudesert Rotary Ecoexpo
The Beaudesert Rotary Ecoexpo is a two day environmental sustainable awareness program with sections including sustainable farming, gardening, business, ecotourism, flora and fauna, displays of environmental projects from local schools, displays from group businesses, government speakers, demonstrations and other programs.
Friday is student day. Last year over 2000 students attended on the day with many involved in school projects associated with the expo. The general public are welcome, just be aware that will be a lot of students. Saturday is aimed at the general public with a range of speakers set at different times and places on a large variety of subjects such as garden programs, recycling land care and programs for youth of all ages.
Organic food and drink will be on sale as well as standard food and drink outlets. On Saturday night there is the ecoexpo recycled costume ball which will provide a program of fun and music with an environment.
