Discover Sarina Festival
Discover Sarina Festival's theme is "Sarina Rocks" so come and see Rock 'n' Roll in all shapes and forms. The Festival is in its sixth year and expanding all the time. They aim to showcase Sarina's art and craft to all of Queensland. The famous Sarina Art Extravaganza, now in its 19th year, is one of the best art shows in rural Queensland and runs for the duration of the festival.
Many of the workshops will feature work from the youth, for example graffiti, healthy lifestyle and living, and banner painting. There will be pottery displays, local galleries and tropical gardens open for inspection, the two museums, Fibre Arts, quilting and many craft demonstrations. The local schools' combined band will entertain in the gardens. Outside radio broadcasts, poetry competition, country and western night, and QCWA craft will also be happening.
