Goldfest

Gold Fest is an annual festival celebrating the gold mining heritage and current gold fossicking activities in Clermont, Central Queensland. The event is staged in Rose Harris Park in Capella Street - the main street in Clermont - and local businesses decorate their shop windows to add to the atmosphere in the town.

Local and well known popular performers will provide musical entertainment Friday night and throughout Saturday. Well known and local bush poets will entertain you while you enjoy a Bush Poets Breakfast on Saturday morning, and for the kids, special children's entertainment will run throughout Saturday.

The festival atmosphere is enhanced by rides and sideshows, and stalls selling craft, jewellery, food, clothing and books.
