Barcaldine Westech Field Days
Westech is an event held over two days which encompasses every aspect of the rural industries and lifestyle of Queensland. It is the largest agricultural field day held in the Central Western Region of Queensland. It has the largest number and range of exhibits, events and working displays.
Events include a twilight bull sale, ram sale, working horse sale and the best of the west stockman’s challenge. There will be trade and equipment displays, rural health checks and a pavilion housing women’s interest items. A fashion parade which showcases natural fibres such as wool and cotton will also be held each day.
Entertainment is provided throughout the whole event and there is a bar and full catering available over the two days.
