BHP Billiton Waltzing Matilda Photographic Competition and Exhibition

The BHP Billiton Waltzing Matilda Photographic Competition and Exhibition is a national competition for framed colour and monochrome prints from across Australia. Held annually since 1997, it is one of the most significant photographic awards in regional Australia.

There is AUD5000.00 prize money sponsored by BHP Billiton, with the two first prize-winners being acquired for the BHP Cannington Silver Lead Zinc Collection. Past prize-winners have included Graham Burstow, Victoria Cooper, Fiona Lake, Belinda Mason-Lovering and Doug Spowart. The Official Opening and Award Announcements will take place on Friday 12 September.
