Outback Spirit Ergon Energy Waltzing Matilda Art Show

The Outback Spirit Ergon Energy Waltzing Matilda Art Show is a national competition for painting and three dimensional works, held annually since 1996. In conjunction with the tenth birthday celebrations of Winton’s Waltzing Matilda Centre, this significant Outback exhibition seeks creative interpretation of the theme celebrating the Outback. Previous winner include Bob Marchant, Elizabeth Duguid, Tom O’Callaghan, Christopher Totter and Lyn Diefenbach.

There is AUD12,500.00 in prize money available which has been sponsored by Ergon Energy and Winton Shire Council. Entries for selection close 29 February and successful artists will be notified by 14 March. Official opening and Award Announcements takes place on Friday 25 April.
