Stockman's Challenge - Bronco Branding and Gymkhana

This action packed weekend for all the family, Stockman's Challenge - Bronco Branding and Gymkhana, is held on the last weekend of the Queensland Winter school holidays. The Gymkhana on Saturday has horse, motorbike and novelty events for all ages. You don't even have to have a horse or motorbike to join in the novelty events. On Sunday witness the pioneer way of branding calves in the Bronco Branding competition and marvel at the skill involved in the Stockman's Challenge where horse and rider negotiate obstacle courses, round up cattle, display whip cracking and perform intricate steps in the pattern work.

Food, bar and free camping available at the grounds all weekend. Have a chat around the fire at the Saturday night barbecue and enjoy the entertainment until the early hours.
