Southern Downs Sculpture Symposium

The Southern Downs Sculpture Symposium will feature with the popular Warwick Shire Jumpers and Jazz in July Festival. The theme for this year's symposium will be 'Stories of the Condamine River' and up to 20 participating artists and a team of five guest artists will carve local Warwick Tanamerah sandstone.

There will also be masterclass workshops and ample opportunity for the public to actively participate in this event. Sculptures will work in the highly visible venue of Leslie Park, Warwick, so progress can be viewed and enjoyed by the general public.

The finished sculptures by the five guest artists, monumental in size, will be donated to a number of smaller communities and located in Federation Park by the Condamine River.
