Sweet Skins Suite - Art by Sandra Conte

'Sweet Skins Suite' is an exhibition of five interrelated series of 18 art works centred on the theme of the skin - animal and or human; 'Underbelly' presents abstract art works of the crocodile skins; 'Te Moko' of facial tattooing; 'Cicatrix' human scarification; 'Second Skin' skins and furs; and 'Forces of nature' the captured patterns of motions and actions in nature.

The artist, Sandra Conte, has exhibited in South Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland, and invited body art champion Heather O'Flaherty to transfer some of Conte's art works onto models to cross-market the Body Art Carnivale happening during the same period in Eumundi.
