Lax Ratz Lacrosse Tournament
The Lax Ratz Lacrosse Tournament will host International and Local youth teams to compete in a three day Lacrosse tournament. Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport, also known as the fastest sport on two feet. Fast action, full contact, and high scoring makes Lacrosse a fantastic and exciting sport.
Lacrosse was originated in North America by the North American Indian tribes. Used as a way to settle disputes between tribes. French explorers saw the game being played and the sticks being used to catch and throw the ball reminded them of the Crosse that the catholic bishop carried, hence the French explorers named the sport Lacrosse.
Lacrosse also abbreviated (LAX) is growing rapidly in Australia and in 2006 the Australian women’s team won the world championship for the first time in history. It is the national sport of Canada and is massive in the USA.
